Everyone dreams of being a hero—to act courageously and decisively in the most difficult of situations. God’s Word is filled with the stories of heroic men and women of history whose stories have been recorded in Scripture for us to learn from. In these stories we constantly see were God takes ordinary people and does extraordinary things through them. While it may seem unrealistic and far-fetched to think we could ever be like one of these heroes, the truth is that we all will face defining moments throughout our life when opportunities to act heroically arrive at our doorstep. The only question is when the moment arises, how will we respond?
