Just today, Forbes ran a piece documenting the abysmal share of venture capital allocated to women. The Calvert Foundation is working actively to change that dynamic with its “WIN-WIN” or Women Investing in Women Initiatives program, which has invested over $20 million in women. The investments vary from micro loans to women entrepreneurs to million dollar loans to nonprofits that support women and families.
