Synopsis

Recorded: 24 May 2018 Published: 24 May 2018 Released: 29 May 2018 Watch video of talk here: https://youtu.be/T8FNuP5FQHI Here, I talk with Regina about her belief that a supernatural experience she once had, what she calls a “piercing of the heart”, was due to the Holy Spirit. We talk about how she determined that her experience was due to the Holy Spirit. Is it possible for someone to have an intense emotional experience and yet it not be due to the Holy Spirit? If so, how do we determine whether an experience is due to the Spirit or some other cause? She also mentions the Bible as one reason she believes it was the Holy Spirit, so we talk about how that factors into things. How would she interpret the experience of a Muslim who also appealed to their sacred text? What do you think? What different directions would you have gone with the discussion? Is there anything you would have liked to see me ask? Your feedback is very much welcome and appreciated. Let me know what you think. As always, your feedbac
