  Gaining muscle is what all guys want to do. We want to be lean and have some nice big arms but unfortunately, when we try and put on muscle too quickly this can also lead to fat gain which is what we want to avoid at all costs.   While you will slightly gain some body fat we want to minimise the amount of fat that will be gained during this period.
