In a December decision, the Federal Communications Commission officially repealed the 2015 net neutrality regulations. The FCC did so by passing the Restoring Internet Freedom declaratory ruling, which opens up potential changes to the way internet service providers deliver service in the United States. One communications law expert says those potential changes will have a number of impacts and do not serve the public interest. Guest: Sandy Davidson, curators’ teaching professor of communications law at the University of Missouri School of Journalism and an adjunct professor in the university’s School of Law.
