Star Wars: Delusions Of Granular

Ron sees a couple commercials with Star Wars characters but they aren't the trailers for The Force Awakens. Chewbacca, Stormtroopers, R2-D2, C-3PO and BB-8 all make appearances. Star Wars characters shilling products and services...is this something we need to get used to under the Disney regime or have they been doing this since the original trilogy?
