As we read the Gospels, we are amazed not only with the miracles that Jesus performed, but also with his wisdom and even with his character. When people asked him questions, he always gave answers to them. In fact, many of his teachings were given in the Gospels because of the questions people asked: he taught them by answering their questions. If the teachings given in this manner were taken away, the Gospels would become very short.
