He has struggled to see purpose in life as he considers that same types of things happen to people across various cultural boundaries. The rich and the poor, the powerful and the weak, and the wise and the foolish, all experience afflictions in life, and in the end all will die. What you have attained in this world - under the sun - will not go with you past the grave. That, to Solomon, caused everything in life to be meaningless and a vanity of vanities. His philosophy of life was limited to the Temporal Pleasures rather than a comprehension of the Eternal Rewards. * As we come into the final two chapters of the book, Solomon deals with the end result of his musings. How should all of this affect my living as I consider my future - both temporal and eternal? Solomon provides two key p
