One of the most common things you will hear when at a networking event is people stating that a good referral for them is anyone, someone, anybody, or somebody who..... The problem with this is it gets them NOBODY! If we want to increase our referral generation we need to understand why that is.  What is it that you are actually asking other people to do for you when you use such words?  Why is this a bad idea or strategy?
