Synopsis

STAR Method many companies are expecting candidates to answer interview questions in a "STAR" format. Before we get into the description of STAR remember that you should always speak to your accomplishments and not the team or organization's accomplishments. The interviewer wants to get to know you and determine if you can be a valuable member to their organization.  Situation - Describe the work situation that you were in or the problem or issue that need to be resolved. You must describe a specific situation, not a generalized description of what you have done in the past. This situation can be from a previous job or a volunteer experience. Task - a brief description of the goal that needed to be reached or accomplished.  Action - the specific action you took to accomplish the task. Provide a couple (but no more than 3) specific task and steps you took to complete the task. Be sure to focus on your specific role and how you assisted the team in reaching its goal. The
