Navigating The Career Jungle

Maria Grasso, Eagle U. Executive Director, has a passion for people and commitment to education. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri with a degree in Political Science and minors in Sociology and Leadership & Public Service. She served as a Youth Ambassador and Junior Coordinator for the United Nations Association’s HERO Program in both South Africa and Namibia where she assisted in schools and built dorms, water sanitation facilities, and homes for rural African families. Shortly after, she teamed up with the British Consulate as a business development intern for the UK Trade & Investment in Los Angeles. After graduation, Maria relocated to Houston, Texas to work in urban education and nonprofit administration at an innovative Houston high school for economically disadvantaged students, while completing her Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Houston.
