Navigating The Career Jungle

Aron Walker, B.A., M.A., is a Program Manager with Genesys Works. Genesys Works is a non-profit organization which provides low-income high school seniors with internships at Fortune 500 companies within the Houston metropolitan area. As a Program Manager, Aron is responsible for the management of over 200 interns from 21 high schools from the Houston area. In order to further the program’s goals, Aron maintains corporate client relationships with more than 60 corporations and oversees Genesys Works’ summer training program. Each year this program trains more than 250 students in critical professional and technical skills. Prior to working for Genesys Works, Aron worked with the Upward Bound program and was once a college administrator in student enrollment management.
