Join us with for our amazing conversation with Ashlei Spivey! Ashlei was recently featured as the 2018 Omaha Women's March Keynote speaker. Powerful, moving, and inspirational, I hope you enjoy engaging in this conversation as much as I did. --------- I was born and raised in the heart of North Omaha and am a proud graduate of Omaha North High Magnet School – Go Vikings! I attended Jackson State University, a historically black college and university, on a volleyball scholarship, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Communications. I then received my Master's Degree from University of Texas at Arlington in Urban Social Planning. I returned to Omaha after living in Spain, Texas and Mississippi, because I knew there were disparities in the city that I loved, and I wanted to create positive impact in the place I call home.
