The Golden Scarf ceremony is a tradition for the Seattle Sounders, a chance to honor those who have done remarkable things for the Seattle community. Mayor Ed Murray will receive the honor during the club's annual Pride Day on June 25, less than two weeks after the tragedy in Orlando rocked the LGBTQ community and the country.
