During a secret, sold-out show at NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl this morning, the mash-up maestro announced that he’s preparing to release a new joint EP with rapper Freeway called Broken Ankles. Five-time Tony winner Susan Stroman directs and choreographs this new musical based on Daniel Wallace's magical-realism novel and Tim Burton's 2003 big-screen adaptation. Tickets for the last leg of George Strait’s two-year The Cowboy Rides Away Tour continue to sell out fast, as the second round of concert dates went on sale today, October 4. Tour stops in Atlanta, Georgia; Columbus, Ohio; Denver, Colo.; Omaha, Neb.; Phoenix, Ariz. and San Diego, Calif. sold out immediately this morning. The only remaining date from today’s sale with tickets still available is Strait’s February 14 stop in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
