Synopsis

=== SNIPPETS FROM THE SUMMIT === The phenomenon I'm talking about today isn't new. But the Internet, then social media, virtual assistants and now AI have caused it to be more obvious.  It goes like this...when shielded by the "anonymity of the Internet", many humans have a tendency to, well...start talking to people in YouTube comment sections like they're not really human on the other side of the computer. Or worse, the "buffer zone" offered by the Internet empowers them to say things they wouldn't have the balls to say to anyone IRL. And when smartphones--and Siri--came along, the downward spiral continued. People started treating a simulated human horribly. Now, with so much AI, we find ourselves talking to soulless robots more than red-blooded humans sometimes. Where is all of this transhumanism really taking us...and what's the big deal, anyway? And what does this have to do with getting better with women? As it turns out, everything. Get in on my Substack channel at: https://mountaintoppodcast.com/subs
