We've had some truly strange and challenging bands on DMP recently, but this episode marks a return to mainstream, contemporary pop music. It's also the DMP debut of Stan Ferguson, your favorite curmudgeon from Box Office Poison, Thoroughly Manly Musicals, etc. As you may know, Stan is a theatrical kind of guy, which helps explain his blooming adoration of the band "fun." Although Nate Ruess & co. have only released two albums, including a couple of big radio hits, Stan unearthed a very impressive trove of deep tracks to fill out this episode much better than you'd expect for such a young group.
