On September 28, former immigrant detainees confronted head of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson outside a public speaking event to demand he address the crisis inside immigrant detention centers and cut the department’s contracts with private prisons.Jacinta Gonzalez, Field Director of Mijente/Not1More Deportation campaign, gave us more details about Secretary Johnson's response to the confrontation.Later in the show, West Virginia University student, Kasey, who recently wrote a "controversial" letter to the university's president asking him to begin a discussion addressing the cultural issues on campus.
