Synopsis

In episode 217, I chat with Isabelle Marsh, who was born in the US, but grew up mostly overseas in Japan.  Then she came back to the US to start high school.  Although she says she was always a bit of a loner, when she came back to the US as a teen, she felt very lonely and had a hard time connecting with her peers.  When she realized the real world wasn't where she would make connections at the time, she turned to the internet.  It was there she found a way to connect with people in the way she wanted to for the first time.  She also always found that writing was a great way for her to heal, to feel better, to feel more connected to herself and meet others.  Hear how Isabelle went back to as she says, "Square 0" multiple times in her life, but how she also describes herself as a warrior through it all.  Listen to how she started writing, how she found writing to heal her confusing feelings and how she's helping connect others online through the power of writing to heal and live a healthier life by listening
