On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Nich Fairbanks(@Prudentia0) for another edition of Fairbanks Friday. The two break down the Panthers 5-4 OT loss at the hands of the Edmonton Oilers, where the Panthers blew a 3-0 lead after the first period. Florida chased Stuart Skinner and once Calvin Pickard was between the pipes, the Oilers turned it on from there and flipped the script. The Oilers continued their scoring in the third as they even took the lead, but the Cats scored with the extra attacker with 20 seconds left in the third to force overtime, but although the Panthers controlled play in the extra period, a little miscommunication from the long change resulted in the Oilers going up the ice and Leon Draisaitl ending it for his third goal of the series.
