Bio Jamisa McIvor, owner of 9 properties, is a 24-year old wife and mother of two (expecting one). Through a lot of networking and learning experiences Jamisa was able to acquire 9 properties in just under one year. At the age of 21 Jamisa’s grandmother gave her ownership of her property for $1 in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia using a dollar deed transfer. She was granted ownership to help with maintenance and taxes while her grandmother was alive. Not knowing the value of a house at 21 Jamisa overlooked the responsibility of owning a house.
