In 2009, CNBC aired a documentary which was surprisingly successful, spawned a DVD release, and continued to be re-run for more than 6 years. This programme was "Porn: The Business Of Pleasure." This audio programme is a commentary on "The Business Of Pleasure" written in 2014, while the documentary was still being repeated on television. 2009 was a pivotal and interesting year to be making a documentary about pornography for various reasons, and I talk about some of these , not least the world-wide economic depression that began just months before this documentary was released.
