In this episode of Private Practice Success Stories, I sat down with one of my students, Lisa Geary, to talk about how she started and grew her private practice significantly in just one year. Lisa is a speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, outpatient rehab, public schools, and higher education. She served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at a university in Maryland, and she also worked as Learning Consultant for an AAC vendor company. Following her relocation to Virginia, Lisa decided to follow her big dream and open her own speech-language therapy practice.
