Every man has a legacy. Your legacy is what you are leaving behind, what you will be remembered by. Your legacy defines you. Imagine your funeral – will people show up, who will show up and what will they say? The choices you make on a daily basis form your legacy. Think about this – are you reflecting God the Father in how you interact and lead your wife and kids? Your legacy should be pointing your kids back to God. You want your kids to be like you because you are trying to be like God. If you want to leave a legacy of a man who pursued God and impressed that on his kids – take them to church, read them God’s Word, show them how to love your wife as Christ loved the church.
