As we step into out new series entitled The Good Story, we consider a confrontation between Jesus and the Pharisees in Matthew. Jesus notes a close connection between the spoken words of the Pharisees and true natures of their hearts. How are our own words connected to the inner substance of our hearts? Do our words glorify God and edify others, or do they debase God and other people?
