A West Clare Priest has been advised to make a speed limit appeal following a number of road traffic accidents outside his church. At the latest meeting of the West Clare MD, Clare County Council confirmed it doesn't have plans to reduce the speed limit there and that it’s not scheduled for a low-cost safety scheme. The road, which is located just after a blind bend on the Kildysart Road into Ennis, did not have its 80km/h limit altered by the recent speed limit review.
