In the Book of Acts, chapter 2, we see the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the healing and infilling of many people! This outpouring resulted in a rush of energy for the things of God, and it says in verse 42 that, as a result: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.” We can see here that apostolic authority builds a safe place for prayer, fellowship, and communion practices, but the common thread is the power of God displayed in the apostles. It became the glue that drove the awe and ecstasy that blew up in and around them as miracles took place! God has a “recipe” for His Bride to mature and grow, and it involves right relationship with the Body of Jesus, starting with spiritual authority. Coming under the teachings of the apostles who were moving in this authority made for a seismic shi
