Kingdom Awareness

Today many of us look for Jesus in places that he used to be.  We apply barrage of techniques, ideologies, doctrines, traditions, and ceremonies in attempt to provoke the presence, capture the moments, or mask the lack of Christ in our lives.  We hold fast to the place where we first met God and fail to be led, directed, or move to where God is trying to taking us.  So that leaves us in a place hoping to recapture that initial experience again by applying an emotional response.  We do not see that the initial experience is a meeting where God met us at the moment we started seeking him no matter what the circumstances or surroundings were when it happened (Matt 6:33).  Just as in many of our relationships we forget what it took to hold, keep, and continue the relationship.  Even in our natural relationships we gave up ourselves to enter into the world of the other person.  We spent and made time to further the relationship so it will be a lasting one.  Cherishing the moment of meeting is glorious, but as with
