“Should the Woman Do the Chasing?”   Over the years we have heard that a man supposed to chase a woman and not the other way around. It’s been said that if a woman chases a man it’s not “becoming of a lady”, she’s desperate. However, in today’s society, is that necessarily true? There are women who propose to the man instead of the man proposing to the woman. There are women who enjoy pursuing the man, because the ball is in their court. There are men who enjoy being chased instead of being the chaser. We have believed that the male instinct is to hunt and the female instinct is to be pursued. What is the proper way? Is it okay for a woman to chase a man? What if the man likes to be chased, should the woman miss the opportunity of having a relationship with that man because of what society has said or is saying?
