Atheist Roundtable

We've all heard the claim that atheists aren't believers because we've been hurt by a believer.  And we all know how crazy that accusation is. But could it work the other way? Have you ever heard of a believer encountering trauma and becoming "renewed" in the faith?  Are funerals places where evangelizing is rampant?  Could a person turn to faith in a crisis when they think they have nowhere else to turn?
