With football season winding down, the attention of many are already pointing their eyes at the frozen water of Conte Forum, where Boston College hockey begins its search for a sixth national championship. One month into the season, it's been eventful for the Eagles, having lost as many players as they have games (one apiece). At 5-1, Boston College is a top five team in the nation, riding the crest of being one of the power schools of Hockey East. Along with UMass-Lowell and defending national champion Providence, the trio represent the potential next batch of teams ready to represent in Tampa this year in the postseason.
