Cheyja Andrews is a 39 year old military brat who was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Hampton, Virginia. She is an Alumni of Virginia State University, where she was fascinated with the mind and majored in Psychology. She is a member of the dynamic ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Cheyja had a strong love for young people and started her early career as a teacher at George Wythe High School. But she would soon discover her gift of gab would lead her into the world of radio. Radio One became her new home and radio personality “Chey Butta” was born. Cheyja was the Promotions Director of Radio One and went on to work for Radio One Corporate in Washington DC as Assistant to VP of Marketing Barry Macon. After a little over a year Cheyja was offered the opportunity to go on tour with R&B singer Chris Brown. While being on the road her networking was expounded more then she could have ever imagined.
