We are thrilled to welcome back our esteemed professor from the Film and Television department at CU Denver for another insightful discussion centered on film, writing, and the intricacies of the creative process.Edward Tyndall hails from Durham, North Carolina, where he initially made his mark as the bassist for the punk band The Celibate Commandos in the 1980s. During his time in Durham, Tyndall also delved into the literary world, penning an underground political poetry series titled The Fruits of the Holy System.Educated with a BA in History and Classical Civilization, Tyndall's journey took a pivotal turn when he received his commission as an Armor Officer in the US Army. This experience laid the foundation for his subsequent pursuit of an MFA in Film, propelling him into the world of cinematic storytelling.His films, celebrated for their artistic merit, have garnered recognition on the international stage, screening at prestigious film festivals such as Tribeca and the London Film Festival.
