The Jewish New Year begins tonight at sundown, with 2 days of Rosh Hashanah. A New Moon also begins today. Because of powerful cosmic vibrations, every New Moon is an important event.  However, when it coincides with Rosh Hashanah, it is even more powerful because of the massive amount of extra energy that is released from prayers, meditations and serious reflection of millions of people, and from the blowing of the Shofar (an instrument made of a ram's horn.) The 100 blasts during Rosh Hashanah are said to blast through negativity in order to clear the way for more positive energy and positive human experiences. You do not have to be Jewish to benefit from the powerful energy that begins today and ends on Saturday, Oct. 4 with Yom Kippur.  Use this time for reflection, introspection, and to put forth your intentions and desires.
