Healing Our Heroes Project is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. HOHP mission is to honor and support our military families from all eras and all branches. We facilitate 5-day/4-night recreational therapeutic retreats. The retreats are five days, which gives the soldier and their family member’s adequate time to begin to decompress and begin the healing cycle. LaTronda Humphries – Executive Director is the wife of 16 years to a disabled veteran, she knows firsthand what it take for marriages and families to succeed. She has a true passion for marriages especially those of our heroes. She has a dual master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as Counseling and is currently in pursuit of a Doctorate of Psychology. LaTronda has over 8 years of experience in military family readiness techniques. She’s been facilitating marriage groups as well as counseling couples for five years.
