Karen Campbell: Name a person who shaped your life in a positive way.Joyce and Lynn were my first two supervisors in my professional communications career. They invested time and energy (and lots of patience) into shaping me into a leader. Today, when I mentor young women, I tell them that rather than thank me they should say a prayer of thanks for Joyce and Lynn. Have you experienced something that changed your life? My faith shaped my initial career choice and I spent 23 years in what is called "church work." When I no longer felt a part of the church, I left both it and my career. I still had my faith however. So now, I live out my beliefs by investing in passionate people, helping them realize their passion for transforming lives. I now experience incredible stories on a daily basis ... people changing the lives of AIDS patients in a hospice, breast cancer survivors, women using art therapy with victims of human trafficking, beads providing for children's education in Uganda, and much, much more.
