On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Winans(@JacobWinans8) for another edition of Winans Wednesday. The two recap the Panthers' 5-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks, where both teams combined for five goals in the first period. After the Panthers failed to extend their lead in the second period with three power play chances (including 43 seconds up 5-on-3), the Cats scored 19 seconds into the third period and were able to play their shutdown style the rest of the way. The top line set the tone for the team, resulting in the first goal, and two Panthers broke out of their respective goals droughts in Carter Verhaeghe (six games) and Sam Bennett (20 games). 11 of the 18 skaters got a point on the night, and each of the four lines got on the board.
