On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Winans for another edition of Winans Wednesday. The two break down the Panthers' 2-1 shootout win over the New Jersey Devils from the Prudential Center on Tuesday night. A scoreless game through the first 40 minutes where the Panthers took care of the NZ. Although the Panthers struggled to get to the net front, they were still able to generate plenty of speed on the night. Paul Maurice juggled the lines, but quickly put Jesper Boqvist back with Anton Lundell, and it paid off getting the first goal of the game 41 seconds into the third period. Although New Jersey scored less than two minutes later, the game picked up when Matthew Tkachuk placed a hit on Nico Hischer (which resulted in a Devils PP). Spencer Knight came up big on the evening, saving 26/27, while also stopping Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt in the shootout, while Aleksander Barkov and Anton Lundell scored some beauties.
