These foods stand the test of time and tug on our heartstrings. Why do you like grandma's apple pie so much? On Wednesday's HearSay, our favorite foodie Patrick Evans-Hylton joins us to talk about traditional comfort foods and more. We'll learn about the psychological and physiological roles these foods play in our lives and talk with a "food psychiatrist." Also on the broadcast, we'll talk about recipes from the past that we enjoy today. We'll go back in time for a conversation with this year's "Ironclad Chefs." From hardtack to battersea beef and grog, once again these chefs will battle it out in a cooking competition as part of the Mariners' Museum's 150th Anniversary observance of the Battle of Hampton Roads.
