Butler starred as Almanzo Wilder in the TV series "Little House on the Prairie" and has co-produced the PBS special, "Pa's Fiddle." Laura Ingalls Wilder's father, Charles, would play the fiddle for his family when she was growing up, and that music inspired the narrative for her novels based on her life in Minnesota in the late 1800's.
