It's a bird... it's a plane... it's an unmanned aircraft system? UAS's, or drones as they're more commonly known, are headed to six states, including right here in Virginia. Their arrival is part of a comprehensive safety test being conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration. Each of the six states will testing drones in a different context with Virginia's responsibility being "drone failure." We'll discuss the benefits of being selected for the highly competitive program as well as privacy issues raised by the drones' presence.
