I tend to be very analytical. When I first heard about our relationship with money and the mindset needed to succeed, I thought it was a lot of woo and not for me. MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MONEY The more I heard about mindset, and the more I researched it, the more I realized that success absolutely requires the right mindset and relationship with money. Growing up, we had very little money. My mom raised us on her own on the wages of a waitress. She always had a side hustle to make ends meet. I never knew we didn't have money. I just thought we were frugal. One year when I was about 12, I told my mom that my best friend Russ would receive gifts on Easter. I found that odd. My brother and I always received Easter baskets full of candy. But that was about it. Russ' family was Catholic. We were Methodist. Maybe that was just part of their tradition.
