Shatner to Serve as Calgary Stampede Parade Grand Marshal It's a well-known fact that William Shatner loves horses. It's also a well-known fact that he's Canadian. Sometimes those two things come together in the perfect storm, which is exactly what is happening beginning July 4 when Shatner kicks off the Calgary Stampede Parade as Grand Marshal.
