On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here to break down the Panthers sweep of the Carolina Hurricanes in their home-and-home over the holiday weekend, which included a shutout in the second game. Florida had six different goal scorers in each game and used the third period in both to break the games open. The last three games for Florida against division leaders have have put the Panthers back on track as a message that they're still the team that they have to get through in the Eastern Conference. Matthew Tkachuk, although he had one shot in the two games, truly set the tone from an emotional standpoint where the Canes lost their composure on a few occasions. There were quite a few special teams swings, especially in game two where they scored moments after killing off a penalty, and used their toughness to even out calls.
