He is a cancer survivor after being diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer in his 3rd year of residency. He started his medical education at Meharry Medical College. After graduation, he completed his medical training at Grady hospital through the Morehouse School of Medicine. He specializes in the management of acute and chronic health conditions with a primary focus on preventative and holistic care.Dr. Dixon now uses his experience as a patient to provide counseling services for familial, and spousal caregivers of patients who are dealing with acute, chronic, and terminal illnesses.
