On September 10th, 1984 - two years after Alaska's largest unsolved murder - authorities announced that they had a suspect in custody.John Kenneth Peel was a 24-year-old living in Bellingham, Washington - who seemed to be the perfect match for the killer. In addition to matching the suspect profile, Peel had a complicated prior relationship with the victims, and had both the means and motive to commit the crime.
