Jim Evans has had more impact on how musicians communicate visually with their fans than almost anyone on the planet. He sometimes paints under the name TAZ. His body of work runs deep, so deep. From designing for surf rock acts in the 60s, to iconic artwork for artists like Chicago, Neil Young, the Beach Boys, and the Allman Brothers in the 70s, to U2, Aerosmith, and Nirvana in the 80s and 90s to modern-day heroes the Beastie Boys and Wu-Tang Clan, Jim has done it all: Logos, album covers, photographs, illustrations, websites, and so many posters.
