Hello vicarious travelers and welcome to Brisbane, Australia! We’ve been in Australia for just over a month and, as some of you have noticed, have been awfully quiet on Periscope. Where we were doing five or six scopes a day in Thailand, it’s down to two to three times a week. Yikes! It seems that connectivity is to blame. In Airlie Beach, the cell signal isn’t the highest quality. And to top it off, the cheap smartphone Evo bought to replace his iPhone (the worst phone for any long-term international traveler) is just that: cheap. It may have a quad core processor, but it doesn’t play well with the Periscope app. And that kinda sucks. But we think we have a workaround, and we’ll start implementation of that right away.
