Paraphrasing from the original: I confirm receipt of your letter, in which you write about the events that happened concerning your position, and how now you're without a job. Life doesn't always go along a straight path. Man wants to ascend, and he can, and that very desire and ability creates the possibility for a descent. You needn't be flustered or upset when you see yourself fall. This is especially true when the fall was only physical, and how much more so in your case, where your dismissal was not because of you. Instead of feeling bad, this descent has to do the opposite.
