This edition of the Matt Brown Show is powered by Get Smarter.com. In 2008, at the tip of Africa, GetSmarter, is founded by brothers Sam and Rob Paddock. The first online course ever presented was Wine Evaluation in partnership with the University of Stellenbosch. Later the same year, Africa’s leading university—the University of Cape Town—agreed to collaborate with GetSmarter. Fast forward to 2017 and Get Smarter was acquired for R1.4 billion.
